This 19' boat dock is located just south of the Salty Approach airstrip on Upper Captiva Island. Upper Captiva Island is only accessible by boat or by small plane into a private airstrip. The dock can accommodate boats up to 23' and features counterweights on the pilings, allowing boats to rise and fall with the tide. Boats can either dock broadside to the dock or with the bow in. More than half of the island is pristine state preserve land. There are nearly 400 homes on the island with a large portion of those available for rent. The island also boasts four small restaurants, a general store, and two beach boutiques. Transportation around Upper Captiva is by electric golf cart, walking, or bicycle, making it the perfect destination for a peaceful retreat. Shelling, fishing, enjoying the beautiful trails in the State Preserve, and watching the spectacular sunsets are special treats for those who enjoy the simple things in life!
